VISA - Visual Interactive Sensitivity Analysis Concept

VISA is an English acronym for Visual Interactive Sensitivity Analysis and designates a support system to the multi-criteria decision, which is based in a multi-attribute function, theoretically well conceived and empirically an approach for a well validated multi-criteria analysis.

The use of this methodology facilitates the consideration of different values and opinions.

Model: Vi = j (wj vij)

where Vi is the i option evaluation global value, wj is the heaviness given to the criteria j and vij is the score of the i opinion in the criteria j.

Criteria are usually structured like a tree of values or hierarchy criteria.

This model serves only as vehicle to help deciders to learn with the problem, it’s not a static model, on-off evaluation alternatives, but part of a dynamic and interactive process.
