Training Concept

The term Training means the acquisition of knowledge and skills resultant from training courses undertaken for this purpose. Training can assume the initial training mode (destined for the obtainment of initial basic knowledge) and continuous and perfectioning training mode (destined to update or deepen knowledge and skills in a certain specific area).

 

Types of Training

. on-the-job (or internal): is a type of training provided in the own company or institution, resorting to real work situations and using the daily machines and tools.

. off-the-job (or external): this type of training occurs out of the company and the normal work situations presenting the advantage of providing a higher concentration of the trainee.
