Manager Concept
Manager is someone who belongs to a
certain organization and who is responsible for the performance of
duties trusted to the management. According to the classical concept
developed by Henry Fayol, the manager can be defined by his duties
inside the organization: it’s the person whom is responsible for the
interpretation of the goals proposed by the organization and perform,
through planning, organization, leadership or management and control or
verification, in order to achieve the referred goals. From this it can
be concluded that the manager is someone who develops strategic and
operational plans that believes to be more effective to achieve the
organizational goals, designs the structure and establishes rules,
policies and procedures more adequate for the developed plans and,
lastly, implements and coordinates the plans’ performance through a
certain type of command or leadership and of control or verification.
