ABM Systems Concept

ABM Systems (Activity-Based Management) consist on a kind of management model in which the decisions are based on the activity level. An ABM System includes decisions referent to the price policy, products range, target-market, relation with clients and suppliers, products characteristics, etc. ABM System still includes the introduction of improvements in internal activities, seeking to increase efficiency and eliminating all which don’t contribute to generate value for the client. For example, the companies can apply reengineering techniques to its processes or invest in new technologies looking for the costs reduction.
