Technical Skills Concept Technical skills represent deep knowledge, at the level of methods, processes and procedures of the activities developed in the organization or the department that each directs; represent also the energy and readiness for the quick performance of tasks, the pragmatism and self control for the resolution of urgent, confuse and complex problems. According to Robert L. Katz, technical skills are demanded with bigger intensity to managers of lower hierarchy levels since they are whom deal more directly with the employees that perform the tasks, having the need to plan, organize and control their work, as well as to give support and training in its execution when such is shown to be needed.
