Donald Schon Biography Born in 1930, Donald Schon studied in Yale, at Sorbonne and at Harvard; taught Philosophy at UCLA and at the Kansas University before integrating the known consultant North American company Arthur D. Little; later worked in the United States of America Department of Commerce having arrived to president of the Organization for the Social and Technical Innovation of MIT. He was a pioneer in the development of the “science-action” concept, an investigative management approach to deal with problems and mistakes in the organizations. From his written work, stand out the books "Organizational Learning: A Theory of Action Perspective" and "Theory and Practice: Increasing Professional Efficiency", both written in co-authorship with Chris Argyris.
