Procedures Concept

Procedures are plans that establish, in chronologic sequence, the work methods and actions that should be developed during the performance of the different activities. An order given to a subordinate to perform a certain task, with indication of the performance deadline and the way to proceed, is considered a procedure. A plan which establishes when and how should be made the quality control is another procedure example. Obviously that, being the rules the indications of the ways to proceed, all procedures should respect those same rules.
