Summary of the Book “Personality and Organization”

In “Personality and Organization”, a true classic of behavioral science, written by Chris Argyris in 1957, is defended that companies and its success depend fundamentally from people. The great theme of the book is, so, the way how personal development is, and should be, related with the work developed in the company. According Argyris, the problem of many companies is that are themselves that form the obstacles to the peoples’ full potential performance. The company should assure that motivation and peoples’ potential are being performed and found to be well directed.
