Organizational Climate Concept

The expression Organizational Climate designates the collective perception that the employees have of the organization’s environment where they work and shows the employees satisfaction degree in reference to different aspects of culture or apparent reality of the organization, such as the established management model, mission and organizational goals, and the followed Human Resources policies (performance evaluation, career policies, salary policies, professional valorization, etc.). This environment which conditions and determines the climate is also strongly influenced by the organizational culture, being, by values, beliefs, rules and principles.
