Insourcing Concept Insourcing is a concept that emerged as opposed to outsourcing and can have two meanings: on one side, represents the retention of a certain service inside the organization, through the creation of a department for that effect with full-time internal personnel; on the other hand, can also mean the establishment of a semi-autonomous unit that provides services to the remaining departments inside the organization, in which the prices and the conditions are agreed among who requests and the services’ provider unit.
