Human Capital Concept

The expression Human Capital designates a group of capacities, knowledge, attributes, and motivations of the people in the organization, this is, a sort of intangible assets that people lend to the organizations where they work and it’s reflected on the productive capacity. Being considered as one of the main assets of the organizations and simultaneously an asset that in fact does not belong to them (since it belongs to the people who give it temporarily to the organizations), the human capital management is presently one of the great challenges for management. It’s not enough to manage this resource efficiently – it’s needed to give them reasons to stay in the organization.
