Presentation of the book “Corporate Strategy” Corporate Strategy is the title of one of the most famous management books. Written by Igor Ansoff and published for the first time in 1965, Corporate Strategy is a book that includes some strategic planning concepts invented before and independently by some big North American companies (among which Lockheed, company where he worked), to which he attaches new theoretical concepts among which the partial ignorance concept, company strategy, capacity and competence profiles, synergy and still the concept of product-mission mold. One of the big news in the book is Ansoff’s Strategic Planning Model which consist on a complex sequence of decisions (that Ansoff designates as decisions’ waterfall), starting from the highly clustered until they arrive to the more specific.
