CFO Concept

CFO is the acronym of the English expression Chief Financial Officer that is equivalent to Financial Director/Manager, being responsible for the company’s financial management. Are CFO’s assignments the production of periodic economical and financial analyses and reports, the preparation of financial plans and short, medium and long term budgets, monitoring and costs control, planning, treasury management and control, viability analyses of investments, studies of financial applications, analyses and decision about financial sources, among others.

In some organizations, the position of CFO is coincident to the Financial Administrator.
