CEO is the acronym of the English
expression Chief Executive Officer and designates the highest executive
role of an organization, equivalent to General
Director/Manager, and has as the main mission to carry out the strategic
policies and plans approved and established by the Administration
Council. Is CEO that should ensure the fulfillment of the corporative
mission, develop the planning, create and implement the
corporative
strategy, relate with external stakeholders at the highest level and
lead the own management team. In some organizations, the position of CEO
is coincident to the Administration Council President.
