Cash-and-Carry Concept
The English expression Cash & Carry
designates a commercial service of free service provided by a wholesaler
for the provision of the retailers.
The outset of Cash & Carry is that it’s
the client himself to choose the product directly from the shelves,
buying and taking it with him. The innovative concept of Cash & Carry
was presented in Germany over 40 years ago by the professor Dr. Otto
Beisheim, who opened in 1964 the first store of this kind in the city of
Mülheim (Ruhr).
