Participative Management Concept

Participative Management designates a kind of organizations’ management which places the emphasis in the employees participation in the decision making process. In this way of management is given the employees the possibility to question, propose, opine and discuss situations of the organizations’ life and management. People from the several hierarchy levels are even stimulated to participate in the management process as a way that all be committed with the goals and the organizational results. According to its supporters, beyond contributing to improve the quality of decisions and to obtain the commitments of all with the decisions making, participative management contributes for a bigger motivation of all and, by this way, for the increase of productivity and efficiency.
